I am a freshman international student from Japan, at BYU-I with a major in Communication.
I am a Comm major at BYU-Idaho. I chose to take a Web Design class as an elective because I know that in this era, to have ability to create something on your own on the internet can have a lot of advantages. I'm am actually the not good with technology and rather prefer things were on paper, but I am trying to acclimate to the shift to the techonologically advanced world we live in today. My parents being entrepreneurs played a big role my taking this class. They were one of the first ones to do what they do, on the internet (still when it took an hour to turn the computer on). They have cool websites and I wanted to learn how they work so that in the future I can help them.
My family flew to Australia on my 4th birthday. We came back and forth between japana for about 2 and a half years. I have almost no memories of it. The only things I remember is how scared I was when I first saw someone with blue eyes, and how terrified I was of carrying the koalas because of their long and sharp nails.
When we came back when I was 6 years old, I forgot most of my little English that I had acquired and so my parents gave me the precious opportunity for me to attend an international elementary school in Japan. It was slightly weird that almost everyone was Japanese so we were often scolded for speakig Japanese most of the time... For junior high and high school, I went to a Japanese school and was immersed in Japanese culture which I absolutely came to love!
Moroni 7:45 "And charity suffereth long, and is kind, and envieth not, and is not puffed up, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, and rejoiceth in the truth, beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."
